Fatima (RA), the beloved daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), once approached her father seeking help. She was overwhelmed and exhausted from the heavy workload in her home. Out of love and concern for his daughter, the Prophet (ﷺ) didn’t give her a physical solution but instead offered her something far greater: a spiritual remedy. He (ﷺ) advised her to recite the following dhikr before going to sleep: SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) 33 times. Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah) 33 times. Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) 34 times. This simple yet powerful act, often called Tasbih Fatima, isn’t just a way to prepare for rest; it’s a means to recharge your body, mind, and soul. The Prophet (ﷺ) said this dhikr would strengthen her more than any physical servant could.
My Experience
I tried this last night and the results were extraordinary. I woke up feeling lighter, stronger, and more energized—ready to take on the world. It was as though the exhaustion I carried melted away, replaced with a sense of peace and renewal. It’s incredible how something so simple, rooted in remembrance of Allah, can have such profound effects on our daily lives. The Challenge
Let’s make this our nightly habit: Before you sleep, recite: SubhanAllah (33 times) Alhamdulillah (33 times) Allahu Akbar (34 times) This isn’t just a challenge for a week; in Sha Allah, let’s make it a lifetime habit. By incorporating this practice into our nightly routine, we can consistently experience its transformative effects on our bodies, minds, and souls. Sharing Your Experience
Your experience with this practice is personal and between you and Allah. You don’t have to share it. However, if you feel inspired to encourage others, sharing your journey can be a beautiful way to spread positivity and remind those around you of the power of dhikr. It’s not about boasting—it’s about being the spark that inspires someone else to reconnect with Allah. Let’s aim to build habits that bring us closer to Allah, transform our lives and
In Sha Allah, inspire others to do the same.
